METRO AG – first sustainability report

METRO AG presents its first sustainability report. As an international trading and retailing company the METRO AG wants to contribute to the sustainable development of society worldwide. The sustainability report 2002 makes this commitment known to the public. "The report documents the efforts that METRO AG is making to this end in the areas of economics, the environment, human resources and social issues", stated Dr. Hans-Joachim Körber, Chairman of the Executive Board of METRO AG.
 
The sustainability report was also handed out to the stockholders at this years Annual General Meeting.
