Metro Data Warehouse
Metro Data Warehouse is the central information system used by the METRO GROUP for German suppliers. It allows for an online assessment of selected data from the Data Warehouse of the METRO GROUP. With this tool, both the suppliers and the employees of the METRO GROUP will for the first time have access to one and the same data base.
Metro Data Warehouse supplies daily updated POS, inventory and good receipt data broken down by articles, days and stores. The special feature of Metro Data Warehouse is the view across all sales divisions since the data from Real, Metro C&C and C+C Schaper have been fully integrated.
With the detailed and updated POS data, Metro Data Warehouse allows to adjust the supply chain to consumer demand and increase the reaction speed. This tool enables the METRO GROUP to improve the communication and cooperation with their retail partners along the supply chain and ensure optimum merchandize supply.
